For this early-learning children’s book, I created a soft, sensory-driven design that teaches the colours of the rainbow through interactive touch-and-feel felt elements. Each spread features die-cut shapes that reveal a textured felt panel in the colour of the rainbow being introduced, encouraging little hands to explore as they learn. The visual style is gentle and reassuring, with pastel illustrations, rounded forms, and simple compositions tailored to very young readers. Clear, minimal typography supports early word recognition while keeping the focus on colour discovery and tactile play. The result is a beautifully engaging first-concept book that blends design, learning, and sensory exploration.
